Privacy Policy — Elite Planner

    Effective date: 14 July 2026

    The short version: Elite Planner works completely offline. We do not require an account, we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information, and everything you create — events, budgets, invitations, and photos — stays on your device. The only third-party service in the app is Google AdMob, which shows optional ads and is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

    1. Who we are

    Elite Planner ("the App", package name com.eliteplanners.eliteplanner) is published by Eliteplanners.ng ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is and isn't handled when you use the App on Android or iOS.

    2. Information we do NOT collect

    The App is designed to be private by default. We do not collect, receive, or store:

    • Your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials — the App has no signup or login.
    • Your events, budgets, guest counts, vendor details, or any figures you enter.
    • The invitation designs you create or the photos you add to them.
    • Your contacts, messages, location, or files beyond the photo you explicitly choose to add to a design.

    All of this data is stored locally on your device only. We have no servers that receive it, and we cannot see it. If you uninstall the App, that data is deleted with it (unless you exported a backup file first).

    3. Photos

    If you add a photo to an invitation design, the App reads only the image you select and stores a copy inside the App's local data on your device. Photos are never uploaded anywhere by us.

    4. Backups you create

    The App lets you export a backup file of your data and share or save it wherever you choose (for example to your own storage or a messaging app). You control that file entirely; anyone you share it with can read the event and budget details inside it.

    5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

    The App shows optional rewarded advertisements provided by Google AdMob. When an ad is served (which requires an internet connection), Google may collect and process certain information itself, such as:

    • Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID);
    • General device information (model, operating system, language);
    • Approximate, coarse location inferred from your IP address;
    • Ad interaction data (impressions and clicks).

    This collection is performed by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data practices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads on Android). When the App is offline, no ads are shown and no ad data is transmitted.

    6. Permissions the App uses

    • Internet — used only to load advertisements. Every feature of the App works without it.
    • Photos / media (via the system picker) — used only when you choose to add a photo to an invitation.
    • Storage / sharing (via the system share sheet) — used only when you export an invitation image or a backup file.

    7. Children

    The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Ad serving is provided by Google AdMob under its own policies.

    8. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA and similar laws)

    Because we do not collect or hold your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or erase on your behalf — your data lives only on your device and is deleted when you delete the App or use "Reset all data" in Settings. For data processed by Google in connection with advertising, please use Google's My Ad Center and the controls in your device settings.

    9. Data security

    Your data never leaves your device through the App, which removes the most common risks of data breaches. We recommend protecting your device with a screen lock and keeping backup files you export in a safe place.

    10. Changes to this policy

    If we ever change how the App handles data — for example by adding new features or services — we will update this policy and revise the effective date above before those changes take effect. Significant changes will also be noted in the App's update notes on Google Play.
