Mobile app development in Lagos

I build iOS and Android apps and take them through App Store and Google Play review. A mobile app MVP starts from $6,000.

    What I build

    • Apps built around one job.Etest JAMB CBT runs timed JAMB practice exams. FizzFree tracks days without soda. Pawlarm reminds you when to feed, walk and medicate a dog or cat. FizzFree and Pawlarm need no account.
    • Apps with subscriptions and ads.Etest JAMB CBT and FizzFree use RevenueCat for subscriptions and AdMob for ads. I’ve set up both myself.
    • Apps for patchy connections.Etest JAMB CBT’s study guides work offline, because a student with no data should still be able to revise. If your users have the same problem, I design for it from the first screen.
    • Apps for a client’s brand.Manna AI is a weekly meal planner I built for iOS and Android. It lives on the client’s own store accounts, and I handle its updates and maintenance.

React, Capacitor, Expo and React Native

I pick the tools for each project and explain the choice in the quote. Etest JAMB CBT and FizzFree are written in React and TypeScript, built with Vite and packaged for iOS and Android with Capacitor. Pawlarm uses Expo and React Native. Manna AI uses React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Capacitor and Firebase. If a framework isn’t on this list, I haven’t shipped an app with it, so I don’t offer it.

Launching on the App Store and Google Play

Writing the app is one part of the job. The rest is the store listing, the privacy policy, screenshots in the sizes each store asks for, the review questions, and the back and forth with a reviewer if they have doubts. I handle all of it, and I’ve done it on the App Store for five apps of my own.

    Cost and timeline

A mobile app MVP starts from $6,000 for one agreed scope. The quote lists the screens, the features and the platforms, and what’s left out. If you ask for more later, I tell you what it costs before I start on it.

The quote also carries a delivery date, and I don’t start building until you have the price and the date in writing.

    How it runs

Discover, Design, Build, Launch, Support. At the end you own the code and the assets once the project is paid for.

    FAQ

How much does it cost to build a mobile app?

A mobile app MVP starts from $6,000. The final price depends on the scope we agree in writing: an app with accounts, payments and an admin side costs more than one that keeps everything on the phone.

It depends on the scope, so I don’t print a standard number of weeks here. The written quote gives a delivery date once the scope is set.

You can have both. Etest JAMB CBT and FizzFree are on both stores. Pawlarm is live on the App Store, and its Android version is in closed testing. If the budget is tight, I’ll tell you honestly which platform to start with.

You do. You own the code and the assets once the project is paid for.

I recommend yours, so the app is yours from day one. I prepare the builds and the listing and submit them.

Support is the fifth step of every project. What it covers and for how long is written in your quote.

I can’t promise that, because review is Apple’s decision. I prepare the build and the listing to meet the guidelines, and I answer any questions the reviewer asks.

No. I haven’t shipped an app with Flutter, so I don’t offer it. I build with React and Capacitor, and with Expo and React Native.
