What is Bus Spin? A bus jam game where the whole station turns

Bus Spin, full name Bus Spin: Traffic Jam Bus Game, is a bus jam game for Android where the bus station itself turns. You swipe a turntable to point buses at open exits, tap a bus to drive it out, and passengers of the same colour climb aboard. I built it, and it has 1,000 levels.

The twist is the turntable. Most bus jam games let you tap buses in a fixed car park; in Bus Spin you rotate the whole platform first.

How does Bus Spin play?

Each level is a bus station with one or more turntables. Buses sit on the turntables, facing different ways, and a crowd of passengers waits in a queue, each wearing a colour.

1. Spin. Swipe a turntable and every bus on it rotates together. Some exits open, others close.
2. Send. Tap a bus whose path is clear and it drives out of the jam.
3. Board. Passengers who match that bus's colour hop on.
4. Plan. Buses that leave before their passengers are ready wait in the bays. Fill all the bays and the level is lost.

That last rule is what makes it a puzzle rather than a tapping game. You are always choosing between spinning now or sending a bus now.

What is a Rush Wave?

Send three or more buses out in a row without spinning in between and a Rush Wave starts. The longer the convoy, the bigger the coin bonus. It rewards spotting a good turntable position and then clearing as much as you can from it before you touch the platform again.

What are the boosters?

There are three, for the levels where you get stuck:

• Undo takes back your last move.
• Extra Bay adds one more waiting bay, which buys you room.
• Heli Lift picks a bus up and lifts it out of the jam.

The level ends and you can try again. You can use Extra Bay to add a bay, or Undo to take back the move that filled it.

Does Bus Spin work offline?

Yes. Once it is installed you can play anywhere, with no Wi-Fi or data connection.
