FizzFree Privacy Policy

FizzFree ("the app") helps you quit or reduce carbonated drinks. This policy explains what data the app handles and — more importantly — what it does not.

The short version

FizzFree collects nothing. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. Everything you enter stays on your device, and the app works entirely offline.

Data you enter, and where it lives

To do its job, FizzFree stores the information you give it: your daily check-ins (clean days and slips), your drink habits (drinks per day, cost per drink, currency), your usual craving time, your savings goal, earned milestone badges, and your notification preference.

All of this is saved only in the app's private storage on your own device. It is never transmitted anywhere. We have no servers, and we couldn't see your data even if we wanted to — the app has no way to send it.

What we don't do

• We don't collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data
• We don't use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs
• We don't require an account, email address, or any sign-up
• We don't access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, files, or anything else outside the app
• The app makes no network connections at all

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, FizzFree schedules a local notification on your device (for example, "Your streak is 12 days old. Don't let a can end it."). This is generated and delivered entirely by your phone — no notification service, server, or third party is involved. You can turn it off anytime in the app's settings or your device's system settings, and the app works fully without it.

Deleting your data

Your data belongs to you. Since everything lives on your device, deleting it is simple: uninstall the app, or clear the app's storage in your device settings. This permanently removes all FizzFree data. There is nothing to delete anywhere else, because nothing exists anywhere else.

Children's privacy

FizzFree does not collect data from anyone — including children. There is no age-restricted content and no data collection to consent to.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of FizzFree ever changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated and the effective date revised before that version is released. Given the app's design, we don't expect that to happen.
