    JaraGram ("the app", "JaraGram", "we", "us", "our") is a Nigerian online marketplace where users can buy and sell social media accounts and digital tools through escrow-protected transactions. To operate a secure marketplace with user accounts, payments, and escrow, JaraGram necessarily collects and processes some personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, how it is protected, and the choices and rights you have.

    The short version: we collect the information needed to run your account and process transactions safely. We do not sell your personal data, and we protect sensitive information such as account credentials with strong encryption.

    2. Information We Collect

    2.1 Account information

    When you create a JaraGram account, we collect:

    • Your name or username
    • Your email address
    • Your phone number
    • A password (stored only as a securely hashed value — we never store your password in plain text)
    • An optional profile photo or avatar

    2.2 Listing and transaction data

    When you buy or sell on JaraGram, we collect the information needed to complete and protect the transaction, including:

    • Listing details you create (the type of account or digital tool, price, description and images you upload)
    • Order history, transaction status and escrow records
    • Messages exchanged between buyers and sellers about a transaction
    • Ratings, reviews and dispute records

    2.3 Account credentials held in escrow

    When a sale involves transferring a social media or digital account, the relevant login credentials may pass through our escrow system so they can be delivered securely to the buyer once payment is confirmed. These credentials are encrypted using AES-256 encryption while held by the system and are only released to the verified buyer when the transaction completes. They are not used by us for any other purpose.

    2.4 Payment information

    JaraGram supports Nigerian bank transfers for funding and payouts. Payments are handled through licensed third-party payment and bank-transfer providers. We receive transaction confirmation details (such as amount, reference and status) and the bank or payout details you provide for withdrawals. We do not store full card numbers; card and banking authentication is handled by the payment provider on their secure systems.

    2.5 Device and technical data

    To keep the service secure and working correctly, we automatically collect limited technical information such as:

    • Device type, operating system and app version
    • A push notification token (so we can send you order and account alerts)
    • IP address and general log data used for security, fraud prevention and debugging

    3. How We Use Your Information

    We use the information we collect to:

    • Create and manage your account and authenticate logins
    • List items, match buyers and sellers, and process orders
    • Operate the escrow system and release funds and credentials securely
    • Process payments, payouts and refunds
    • Send transaction updates, security alerts and important service notices
    • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access, and resolve disputes
    • Improve the app's reliability, performance and features
    • Comply with applicable Nigerian law and respond to lawful requests

    We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your private transaction messages for advertising.

    4. How We Share Information

    We only share personal information in the following limited situations:

    • With the other party to a transaction: when you buy or sell, the other party sees the information necessary to complete the deal (for example your username, ratings, and the listing or order details).
    • With service providers: payment processors, bank-transfer and hosting providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
    • For legal reasons: where required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights, safety and property of JaraGram, our users, or the public.
    • In a business transfer: if JaraGram is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

    5. Data Security

    We take the security of your information seriously and apply industry-standard safeguards, including:

    • AES-256 encryption for sensitive data such as account credentials held in escrow
    • Encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS
    • Hashed password storage (passwords are never kept in plain text)
    • Access controls limiting who can view sensitive data

    No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your information and to respond promptly to any security issue.

    6. Data Retention

    We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Transaction, escrow and payment records may be retained for a longer period where required to comply with legal, tax, accounting or fraud-prevention obligations. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

    7. Your Rights and Choices

    You have the right to:

    • Access and review the personal information associated with your account
    • Correct inaccurate or outdated information from your profile settings
    • Request deletion of your account and personal data (see Section 8)
    • Opt out of non-essential notifications

    8. Deleting Your Account and Data

    You can request deletion of your JaraGram account and associated personal data at any time. To do so, email us at info@etestweb.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line "Delete my JaraGram account".

    We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days. Please note that certain records — such as completed transaction, escrow and payment records — may be retained where the law requires us to keep them, even after your account is deleted. Any data we are not legally required to keep will be permanently removed or anonymised.

    9. Children's Privacy

    JaraGram is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

    10. Changes to This Policy

    We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Continued use of JaraGram after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
