App to Quit Energy Drinks: What to Look For

An app to quit energy drinks should count your days without one, show the money you keep, help you through a craving and let you cut down slowly if stopping at once is too hard. I built FizzFree for soda and energy drinks, so I will show what it does and list the other apps I found.

    Key points

    • Look for four things: a streak, money saved, help in the moment of a craving, and a way to taper.
    • FizzFree tracks regular soda, diet soda and energy drinks, with no account.
    • I found four apps made only for energy drinks on the US App Store on 22 October 2026. I describe them from their own listings, because I have not used them.
    • None of these apps is a medical treatment. If you drink a lot of caffeine every day, talk to a doctor about cutting down.

What should an app to quit energy drinks do?

Energy drinks are a habit with a price tag and, for most people, a caffeine routine. A useful app works on both.

    1. A streak. A count of days without a can. It gives you something to protect on a bad afternoon.
    2. Money saved. You enter what you spend and the app adds it up. For many people this number does more than any health message.
    3. Help in the moment. A craving often passes if you can get through the next few minutes. A timer and a reason you wrote yourself help with that.
    4. A slow option. Some people stop at once. Others do better cutting down over a few weeks, so the app should let you choose.

Things that matter less than they look: badges, charts you never open, and social feeds.

How does FizzFree handle energy drinks?

FizzFree is the tracker I built. It counts regular soda, diet soda and energy drinks in the same streak, so you do not need a second app if you drink both.

    • A streak of days without the drink, with milestones.
    • Money saved, plus the sugar, caffeine and calories you skipped.
    • Quit at once, or reduce mode, which tapers you down over the weeks you choose.
    • Craving SOS: a timer, swaps and your own reason for quitting.
    • One free streak freeze every month, for the day you slip.
    • No account. Your data stays on your phone.

The tracker is free with ads. Premium is optional and adds the rest of a 30 day Soda Detox, more streak freezes, craving insights, a caffeine chart and themes, and removes the ads. It is on iPhone and Android. See FizzFree, or get it on the App Store or Google Play.

What it does not do: it does not tell you how much caffeine is safe for you, and it is not built around one brand of drink. If you want a guided course written only for energy drinks, look at the apps below.

Which other apps help you quit energy drinks?

I searched the US App Store on 22 October 2026. This table uses only what each listing says. I did not check their Android versions, and I have not used any of them.

App What its listing says it does Paid parts, per the listing
FizzFree: Quit Soda Tracker Soda and energy drinks, streak, money and sugar saved, craving SOS, quit or reduce Free with ads, optional Premium
Drink Counter: QuitERGY Reduce or quit energy drinks, set limits, log each drink, reminders and optional location based nudges Free to download
Quit Energy Drink Log energy drink free days, a cravings tracker and tips A Pro upgrade with articles
Thrive: Quit Energy Drinks Quit streak, reminders and milestones The listing says all features need a paid subscription or lifetime access
Quit Energy Drinks, Get Free A 21 day course for energy drinks I could not tell from the listing

I also looked for an app called NoCrash, which other lists mention. I could not find it on the US App Store, so I left it out.

    Which one should you pick?

It depends on how you drink and what has failed before.

    • You drink soda and energy drinks. One tracker for both saves you from keeping two streaks. That is why I built FizzFree that way.
    • You want to count every can and set a daily limit. QuitERGY's listing is built around logging and limits.
    • You want a structured course. The 21 day course app, or the 30 day Soda Detox in FizzFree Premium.
    • You only want a counter. Any of them will do. Pick the one you will open every day.

Try one for a week. If you have not opened it by day four, it is the wrong app for you, and that is useful to know.

    Frequently asked questions

Is there a free app to quit energy drinks?

Yes. FizzFree's tracker is free with ads, and its Premium is optional. QuitERGY is free to download on the App Store. Read each listing before you start, because some apps are free to install but need a subscription for most features. Thrive's listing says all its features need one.

Can I cut down on energy drinks slowly with an app?

Yes. FizzFree has a reduce mode that tapers you down over the weeks you choose, and QuitERGY's listing describes setting your own limits. Cutting down slowly suits people who find a sudden stop hard. Ask a doctor if you drink a lot of caffeine and want a plan.

Does FizzFree work for energy drinks or only soda?

Both. FizzFree tracks regular soda, diet soda and energy drinks. The streak, money saved and caffeine you skipped include energy drinks. It is not tied to any brand, and it does not need an account.

What happens when I stop drinking energy drinks?

Many people notice headaches or tiredness for a few days, because energy drinks carry caffeine. I wrote about this in my caffeine withdrawal timeline. Everyone is different, so if symptoms worry you, talk to a doctor.

    How I wrote this

On 22 October 2026 I searched the US App Store for energy drink apps and read each listing. I did not install or test the other apps, and I did not check their Android versions. The FizzFree details come from the app I built and its page on this site.
